Grove Park Philippines Project
The Philippine Community Fund run three schools for the poorest squatter children.
One of the schools is currently located in a warehouse on the edge of a dump site. This warehouse (pictured) is not nearly big enough. It is estimated that there are 1,100 children on one dump site alone who do not have place in school.
The Philippine government have provided an area of land for a new school. This school is to be built out of redundant shipping containers (see the plan below).
The Grove Park Philippine Project aims to build a childrens playground at the new school, assist in the painting of the new school buildings, plant trees in the school grounds and work with the children in their classrooms at the school.
